Rain won't stop  ! Fields , ditches , smaller streams are flooding bad.  Some roads are closing.  Bigger creeks and rivers are riseing fast . Flood watches and warnings are up all around.

This morning roads were closed due to high water . Was up to the bumper on my 4x4 truck in one crossing . Suppose to get a break for a day or so , hopefully the water will reseed some . Calling for more rain most of next week .  Shocked Shocked Cry Cry Cry

Hope it stops raining there! We are supposed to get rain starting tonight through Sunday morning with chance of more during the week. Doesn't sound like it's going to be anything like you've got.

We had a big storm come through yesterday.  Temps jumped into the 60's wind came up somewhat. We got a couple dozen drops on the windshield and it blew by. Don't think the storm lasted a half hour in the valley. The peaks now are getting whiter by the day.
Weather peeps now saying 70% chance tomorrow. We'll see. If you get up in elevation and close to the big mountains you can get a little wet. LOL
Never seen such a country with all it the Challis Mist. Misses us big time and hits everywhere else. LOL
Stay safe everyone.

Actual rain this morning and some of it standing on the deck.
Right at the 6700 line the snow started and was sticking.
By 11 am the road was melting out and water running down the road.
The snow was a wet sloppy slush bomb stuff especially if you were under a big pine tree.
Now it's cell after cell coming through storm about over with for the day.

Good to hear your water level is slowly going down.
This country isn't built for a lot of heavy rains all at once.
Only seen it in the last 20 years do a heavy all day rain. It brought a mountain side down took out houses closed roads. Wild fires on steep slopes and heavy rains don't mix. That area that washed out is on a major state highway and we still drive by it. No one lives there now. Just up the road from our other place in the valley. Watched a propane tank float down the river that day. Hadn't seen the river that high in ages and it hasn't been that high since.
The last 30 years of off and on drought hasn't been kind to the NW. Suppose to have a warm dry winter. So far it's been warm and somewhat dry. We need a snow pack to fill reservoirs for summer irrigation and fishing. Wink
