Looks like it might start earlier than normal. Had planned to go to the western nta in Montana June 1and 2. We start the lookout schedule June 3rd..
But we are going back to the old schedule and my other half will be back here for the summer. So I won't have to deal with 2 places and be wore out all summer.
Opening the lookout today. I'm just waiting on a couple of fire guys. They're young and strong and can lift.
Watching a rain storm across the valley to my West right now. Hope the guys get here soon and we don't get any strong winds.

Watching storm cells today. Shocked
Lightning map showing down strikes but I haven't been able to see them.
This isn't what I signed up for. Wink Cheesy

Well yesterday turned into Santa Claus season. Yes, it snowed for most of the morning or squalls moved through. A lot of wind and down right chilly temps. When I got off the top it felt like a sauna.

Yesterday and today our highs only got in the 60's ,it was cloudy both days. We had a good thunderstorm roll through around 3-4 this morning. Heard some hail but it sounded small and I didn't see any damage this morning.  I'm happy it's been cool out as our AC isn't working, Dad thinks it's the compressor Sad It's under warranty but we'll have to pay to have it installed, my Dad can't do it any more.
